Pastor Craig Lauterbach was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1974 while attending a church near his hometown, he committed his life to Jesus Christ. After graduating from college, he and his wife Cindy embarked on their ministry journey. As a gifted speaker and respected author with more than twenty five years of pastoral and ministry experience, he travels nationally and internationally sharing a balanced message of faith and inspiration.

Prior to The River of Life Church, he successfully planted a church in New Jersey, as well as partnering with five other assemblies located in the United States and overseas.

Many have referred to Pastor Craig Lauterbach as a “Bridge Builder” in the Body of Christ, thus opening doors to minister with people such as Tommy Barnett, Charles Crabtree, Ray McCauley, Jesse Duplantis, Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Robert Stearns, Sheila Walsh, former Vice President Dan Quayle and many others. He is an honorary board member of the Los Angeles International Church (Dream Center), along with Tommy Barnett, Jack Hayford, Charles Nieman, and Willie George.

As a gifted communicator, he shares a life-changing message offering hope and restoration to all who will listen.

Rev. Jeff Spuler
Assistant Pastor/Student Ministries

Pastor Jeff Spuler was born and raised in a small southern New Jersey town. At an early age, he became a Christ follower and later accepted the call to full time ministry. After graduating from Valley Forge Christian College, he married his college sweetheart Pamela and together they have three children.

His role as a Student Ministries Pastor has spanned more than two decades reaching the youth of New Jersey. Pastor Jeff is committed to seeing the local church fulfill the great commission through a collective holistic approach to ministry with an emphasis on mentoring and developing strong leaders. He has a passion for worship and desires to see parents and students reach their full potential in the Kingdom of God.

Rev. Abbeylyn Constance
Assistant Pastor/Children’s Ministries

Pastor Abbeylyn Constance is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelors degree in world missions with an emphasis on children’s ministry. Pastor Abbey has developed and implemented successful programs for children in several churches and is now heading up our children’s ministries department for ages 11 & under. With the assistance of a qualified team, she provides exciting programs on Sundays and throughout the week utilizing music, puppets, multi-media presentations, and games, which are structured around a sound Biblical message. She states, “Children are today’s church and tomorrow’s leaders. We need to prepare them now for their future and eternity!”

Rev. Amanda Stevenson
Assistant Children's Pastor 

Pastor Amanda Stevenson is currently a student at Valley Forge Christian College pursuing a Bachelors degree in children's ministries. She is a native of Pennsylvania and serves as an assistant to our children's pastor. Pastor Mandie has served effectively in several churches, developing and providing quality programs for children ages 11 and under. Kids are her passion! While others see children's ministry as a stepping stone, Pastor Mandie sees it as a life calling. She states, “Children deserve the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ. If we reach them when they're young, we'll have them as adults.”
